Sundays @ 7:07pm -- Keep Church Weird

For us at the porch, the theme this year of "Keep Church Weird" has been descriptive of us rather than perscriptive of who we want to be.  After the fall quarter focusing on what it means to really be in community with each other, what it means to talk to real people--instead of just disengaging, and realizing it's not all about "me,"  we are going to spend some time this winter looking at scandal.  That's right.  Scandal.  Specifically scandal in the Bible and what that reveals to us about who God is.  Keep church weird.

 

Community in the Word

Wednesdays @ 7 pm

And to keep the weird coming...come hang out, bring your dinner, play board games and take a moment to relax at 6.30 pm.  Then join us starting at 7 pm as Jordan Loewen and other members of our community lead a time of Bible study & prayer as we take a look at our text for the week.
